If the west put as much money into researching new clean technologies as they do subsidizing dirty industries, coal and oil as well as building dirty infrastructure like coal power they would have increased efficiency several fold. If the west banned the use of low energy efficiency light globes and household goods we would use heaps less electricity.
America cant even be trusted to protect its own citizens against homelessness, drugs and crime so how can it be trusted with control of the middle east.
