The way this program works is Green Energy Ohio, Duke Energy has designated an initial block 200 kWh of green power each month, and has another option to purchase additional blocks of 100 kilowatts, needed in response to customer demand. green energy consumers would pay an addition of 2.5 cents for each kilowatt kWh above the standard rate of Duke Energy.
