Has anyone invented a simple device to allow the energy to return home in the grid?
Ok, I know that people have solar panels and wind turbines and as a kind of device that allows the electric meter to run backwards. But my thought is that we need a simple, inexpensive and that the house which all have the same exact thing. Imagine if you could just plug tredmill in your device and save 50 cents, or work with your child on a frame of solar to save a few dollars. I think a platform like this would greatly accelerate the people who move to more serious forms of production of personal energy. But First it must be affordable and there in most homes. Thoughts on this?
Grid tie is not expensive, but there are legal and security issues. The grid does not belong to you. It belongs to the power company and it's their job to keep and keep safe.
