Well im trying to film the deer going in the plot and im trying to come up with a cheap way to do it?
I have two wireless cameras one wired security camera and the distance is like 1200 ft and thats to far to run the wired telephone wire and cost to much to get antennas and amps but what i was thinking (What if i take two car batteries hook up dc to ac adapters and put in a dry box a either the wired or the wireless security cameras and a vcr to record and ( Most tapes record 3 hours the most right ? ) And maybe find a solar charger to recharge the batteries during the day that wouldnt use much power i would think but not sure ?
i need something cheap and doesnt require a lot of money im looking to do it with what i have available
Listen outdoor security cameras are cheap, just google them, and so are rolls of cable. VCR tapes also come in much longer record versions, and if you slow your VCR they go even longer. They make an 8 hour tape you can get almost 12 hours out of, if you slow your VCR. This makes for less video quality, but usually gets the job done. I would run the cable back to the house where I could control the recorder. Good luck.
