Where to buy a Man Man at AC DC?
I need to buy a Male Female adapter AC DC. I have a diesel truck that is difficult to start due to very cold conditions. Everything works well (glow plugs, etc.), but I often work at temperatures below 10Deg F and need my truck to start more easily. It starts great, even in these temperatures when is connected, but I'm not often in a place where I can do. I have a large tender solar powered battery that allows me to keep my battery responsible and I think I can use to run the block heater too. (I'm sure he used to run and when plugged into a home, but anything is better than nothing) I can not find a card that will allow me to connect a plug into an AC DC Male. Someone knows where I can get one? Or have a better solution?
First, an offer solar battery (charger float) does not have enough juice to run an inverter. Take a piece of old cord with plug attatched, go to a parts store (personally, I found stores automotive parts are about 50% of prices in deposits truck parts) and buy the end you need to end the 12V, and hook 'em up!-n' matter which side does that. your block heater is essentially a drop-in-the cup warmer, just a little luck bigger.Good! PS you can try Flying J or the like, too!
