. Question of the battery for solar energy - t (2) 6V batteries connected in series make a 12V source?
I do not know if I ask this good but basically I'm trying to set up a solar energy system and need help. I have a 100w panel and want the stored in the batteries of 6V (2) golf cart. The inverter that I am at a 12V DC input. Would I plug them in series or in parallel? So If I plug in the 6V (2) not all cells that make a 12V output in the inverter? Thank you oh and if anyone has other suggestions / tips / tricks my system is as follows. Charge controller (1) 100W panel (a) (1) SureSine UPS (2) Energizer GC2 6V golf cart batteries misc cables I need other components or is it all that I need?
You hook the batteries in series for 12V. You pretty much everything you need. I would get fuses and switches running well.
