Solar heat hot water?
I wish I could hot water by solar energy. I have the old board Basic heated hot water radiant heat in my house. How do I power 100% of my hot water bill by the heat energy Solar alone? And what about tax credits?
You should not do this period. im a solar technology, and we get customers who want to make 100% solar and simply not feasible. panels are simply not cope with the boiler, and you must pump the heat in these serious pipes in your baseboards to feel the heat. your better off getting a high eff. boiler to replace the boiler (kerosene one?) old. if you want to go solar, and you have enough space for storage, get a two-Collector for you domestic hot water (2 Col. based on individuals 3-4). we install these systems for about 8 grand. Remember, a collector who is good to heat 50 gallons of water per day. think about it, do not waste your money.
