Ideas for engineering project?
I'm in my first year and we need to do research on an idea to solve a problem or make an invention more efficient. For example, people have done things like trying to prove that the lift can operate without son or someone even created a plasma gun last year. An idea from my teacher was "Can we power and heat a home in Burnaby, using only solar energy, cheaper than we can heat and electricity using power from BC Hydro? "The idea must have a rate of success or failure, it may fail or succeed we need only prove that we will be in a lot of research integration physics and mathematics has anyone any ideas I might be able to develop further? I just need somewhere to From and begin their search. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
My first year of engineering, we had to find a energy source (such as hydropower) and create a way to use and something current. My group has developed a system where we have made the runoff from storms and use the sewer pipe to channel water through a turbine and power generated. We built a generator and a turbine and got the system does work. You might be able to lampposts or simple things in a neighborhood. Try think of something really simple that you can better or fix. Maybe use the water collected from downspouts and use it to something to drink filtered or shower with? Hopefully I helped. Feel free to email me if you need more help.
