A couple questions about different types of alternative energy?
I'm looking into different energy sources alternatives. I'm trying to understand those who are viable and which are not and the advantages and disadvantages. Can you tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the following options and whether they are viable? If I forgot something please let me know and if you can not answer that question do you know of a good resource for studying these things? 1. Electricity: Electricity is not ultimately produced from oil or something in the end anyway? 2. Fossils oil / oil: is it limited or is it much? 3. Nuclear: Nuclear power plants are dangerous? Is this a very strong production option? 4. Solar panels actually produce enough energy? 5. Ethanol: Is it worth it or a waste of food? 6. Coal: we have a lot of this and is it too clean? 7. What about microwave technology, it really seems to do much better than the ovens? this type of technology is present and can it be used for other things?
