why not go ahead give me a good output power for a solar panel from the red and blue?
I conducted an experiment solutions using different color to see the effect of wavelength on the power of a solar panel silicon solar. I expected to see a peak, where the efficiency of the wavelength and energy of the photons were optimal. However I have found that instead of wavelength in the blue power was quite high, which then fell to the green region, and then rose even higher in the red region. I made sure I kept the intensities of different wavelengths constant. What could be the cause of this dip in the wavelength region of green?
Silicon solar panels have their greatest sensitivity to the red end of the spectrum visible and near infrared. In contrast, the human eye is relatively more sensitive to the green spectrum. Neither silicon nor human eyes are particularly sensitive to relatively short wavelengths of blue, but your blue solution can also transmit large amounts of red light or infrared, which gives a reading for the relatively high silicon "blue" sensitivity.
