What are the sources of power are used for man made satellite?
I guess most are solar with a back-up rechargeable battery to enter when it is an area to the beach Sun. Can anyone confirm what other sources of energy they use? I speak satellite Earth just in case it is not clear. Please websites source of backup information. Thank you
Yes, most satellites orbit the Earth using solar energy, with rechargeable batteries for power when the satellite is in the shadow of the Earth. Some satellites of the USSR had nuclear reactors, but they were the exception.
