We have solar panels, we have the land, now what?
Where can I get a farm complete solar system grid 50MW power plant? I am looking to buy, not lease or license. Most companies that I meet are simply the manufacturers of parts or modules PV.
Are you sure you want to 50 MW? Enough for a town of 40,000 homes? This is outside the realm of off-the-shelf, you need for all specially designed. You need special inverter high, and some high voltage transformers and high voltage lines to ship this power where it goes. Let me start with a design engineering firm specializing in large power plants. density is about 12 watts per square foot, so that is 4 million square feet or 90 acres. And about $ 150 million just for the panels, not counting installation, wiring, inverters, etc..
